Here is my first (and likely final) call Snow Map. Almost all of this is from midnight tomorrow night until 5 am Thursday except far south and west where they may get a quick couple inches during the day or evening tomorrow.
Gray: 1-3”
Purple: 3-5”
Blue: 5-10”
Orange: 10-15” (mainly snow but a brief period of sleet in some areas Wed. AM)
Yellow: 5-10” (extended periods of frz.rain and sleet - some heavy - mixing so lower totals despite periods of heavy snow at times).

Once again for Ray (Rb's) project please post all final tallies in here. Keep any other discussions in the other thread.

What's needed upon the conclusion of the event?

1. Total snow and sleet combined to the nearest .1" (if possible), rainfall to the nearest .01" (if possible), ice accretion to the nearest .01" if possible. Best guesses are also ok provided they are relatively close .
2. State
3. County (optional)
3. Town/municipality/city/CDP/etc. where the measurement was taken

All of it from 8 PM last night to 5 AM this morning. Finally got under one of the lucky bands and it didn't move.

East Rockaway, Nassau County, NY - Best guess - 1 foot.
After a slow start during daylight, the sun set and a heavy band set up and dumped on us until around 6 am.
Had me lulled in to a false sense of bust here along the coast, but I never lost faith in your forecasts and kept telling family naysayers to talk to me at 10 pm. By that time, this Godzilla was well on its way to verifying here.
Can't thank all of you enough for your excellent hard work.
Now please send me some Spring!
