2013 Fall Foliage Thread
Let's post some pics of the foliage for this year. Take a photo of one of your trees or favorite foliage locations and keep posting an updated photo of the same tree or location so we can look at the before and after pics.
This photo is from the front of my home...there are some yellow leaves.
Post whatever you like

I read a fall foliage prediction where a joker had said New England color would be dull due to milder temperatures up there.Doesn't look that way to me from this and the Adirondack picture above!
One tree in my yard dropped all it's leaves, some othjers changing fast now in Mahwah NJ.

Yep.Maybe it's the cool ( up until this week) and dry weather giving them a boost.Seems a month early to me around my neck of the woods.nofoboater wrote:Starting to change out here as well. I attribute some if to the dry weather.

Yeah, we had some very cool nights out here until about 8 days ago. Sure hope this system comes up Monday and Tuesday, it is dry boy.

Trout streams up in Roscoe NY dry as a bone.Makes it real tough to spin cast up there.Looking forward to 2-3 inches of rain next week to boost up the Beaverkill to fishable levels there. Was there in 2008 for low levels like this and at Cairn's Pool on the Beaverkill, all the big trout were there.Me and a buddy got over 60 trout in 3 days.Still prefer the river deeper and running fast.Nothing like pulling in an 18 inch native brown on 4 pound test on a 5 foot ultra light rod in fast running water! Hope to be going up in a few weeks.Late October-early November perfect for us spin guys. All the fly guys gone with no hatches. You've got the whole river to yourself!
