BLOG: Pacific Pattern Looks Familiar
Haven't blogged in awhile so I decided to talk about something random, somewhat interesting. Weather has been extremely uneventful lately. Enjoy.

Re: BLOG: Pacific Pattern Looks Familiar
In light of what I blogged about a couple days ago, LR models seem pretty insistent that this pattern will continue maybe through the entire 1st half of October. This would be a -PNA/+EPO type pattern with a neutral NAO.
Re: BLOG: Pacific Pattern Looks Familiar
Since Sept. 20th, when I wrote this blog, the Pacific pattern has been unfavorable for us along the east. Now that the -NAO has broken down, it will begin to show why it is unfavorable, with a couple of cut-off low's helping to raise temps. into the mid 80's this week and again next week. Very warm pattern. For those concerned about winter, do not worry, there is no correlation.
