Heh Ladies and Gents!
I'm a lurker, but seeing these maps make me so excited for winter!
Any idea on time frame for the storm? I have a friend running the marathon on Sunday, should I tell her to pack a shovel? Haha

Still getting ironed out with the details, but this looks be an all-day Saturday type of storm. It should be clear by 8am Sunday morning.

Still getting ironed out but I would personally keep a heads up if we get snow all the way down to the coast and all that snow and wind on leaves it may be difficult to have a marathon in areas with trees. Thats IF this senario happens, its one run showing this, like mugs said if we have continued runs through wed then its crunch time.

Thanks guys!
I'm already mentally preparing for power loss in Suffolk County. Between all of the precip last week and the precip and winds with this storm, I'm worried.
Can't wait to track all week!! Woohoo!

sun don't get too worried off one run, however signs of a big storm are impressive, euro will be big player if it comes in similar.

Wow Maue beat JB to it, posted snow maps with "censored" written on it. Let the media frenzy begin! Maue is calling it a superstorm, wow usually he is quietly conservative.

LOL, again can't type. I figured Frank but still people will not understand. No KOD keep positive. Euro is always lagged behind GFS many times we know this.

Well GFS isn't far off from a pretty epic storm. But no Euro support is unsettling.
