My thermometer broke it got so cold so I am going by what I see on Internet --10 in hopewell jct.

CP, put my gauge outside and got to -5.6 for the low.Coldest temp I have seen in many years.

Get use to it Doc, most winters we see at least one morning of -5 to -10. As noted earlier the -6.0 I recorded this morning didn't even beat last years low. We usually get our negative double digits on those cloudless, snow pack, still nights when there's no hype and the city stays in low teens and we just drop like a rock all night long from the radiational cooling.

Glad to see you got your sensor in a better spot. I know it's the wrong thread but I consider this thing tonight a non event for us, our friends to the south and east, Skins, Ace and others should do OK I hope.

Signing off for the day hopefully I get a nice surprise tonight but not expecting one.

As you had analyzed previously, the wind screws up our radiational/snowpack cooling and last night it was howling.

Thinking we are lucky to pull out 2 inches but we'll see.

I think I might go skim the pool and get ready for an afternoon swim.

Just think Thurs into Friday is projected to be colder!

I had a low of -7*. Currently it's 2*. It's another GREAT winter day. The Mets at Penn State said at the end of this week it will be colder than this. NICE ! Plus there will probably be a storm threat over the weekend which Frank has already mentioned. Let's hope this one nails the whole area.

Go on to Davis Weatherlink.com and look at the map. Zoom in to PA. and you'll see SNOW MAN"S Pocono weather. That's my weather station posting the current conditions. It's there for the whole world to see. That's how you'll know it's the real deal Neil. LOL !
