I feel bad for Collins, though, trying to plug up all the holes in the dam.Agree on Campbell, he's got to go back to triple A.Murph is supposed be back Tuesday so there will be the third baseman.The coaches have got to work overtime on Flores' fielding.He can hit but loses too many games with his sloppy defense.I think he can work through it and we need his bat.

If a total collapse comes, and I hope it doesn't, it has been a great run,in first place for a long period of time.If Wright, Lagares. Murphy,D'Arnaud and Familia were healthy, I think we could have made a playoff run this year.Now, I really don't know.

Just posted above Snow that I think you will be right.Too many strategic players injured and too many Triple A replacements.What are you going to do? That's baseball.

Optimistically, Murphy is coming back soon, D'Arnaud and Familia may not be too bad and return soon and Bobby Parnell was looking pretty good the other night.Longshot Wright could return later on.

Time to get a new hitting coach.Less than one run scored four games in a row.Poor Harvey.Pitches a gem and loses by one run.If I was Collins, I'd close the door to the clubhouse and rip these guys a new one.FRIGGIN' SHAMEFUL the hitting of this club.

And the beat goes on. 5 straight loses and now 1 game over .500. A great pitching outing by Harvey ruined by the horrible hitting. Braves are going to be in 2nd soon. Wouldn't be shocked to see the Mets below .500 soon. What seemed to be a very promising season at the start of the season is turning into a typical Mets season.

Wasn't it just the opposite a few years ago....they couldn't win at Citi and did well on the road?

Mets now have lost 6 in a row. Back to a .500 record after starting off the season 13-3. Now at 36-36. Wow, what a terrible turnaround by this team. No one should go to any more games unless the management starts caring about this team. This is a terrible team. Great starting pitching but terrible relief and hitting.

Nats just won. Mets are now 2.5 games with the Braves 3 games back.

And D'Arnaud on the DL again.....ugh

The Mets are just an awful baseball team. This team has now lost 7 in a row and now a game under .500. This is unacceptable and Alderson and Collins need to get fired for this. This is an embarrassment for a big market team. It is really hard to watch them. No heart or fire with this team. Just plain boring.

You could see it on the faces of the players towards the end of the game.They are broken mentally and spiritually.Problem with the Mets is they have had a series of "nice guy" managers who try to "reason" and "discuss" the reasons for failure.In my day, the old timers shamed,humiliated and screamed at the top of their lungs what a dumb stupid numbskull you were for doing badly.The result was to light a fire under you and really hate them and break your ass to prove them wrong.I guess this "sensitive" age does not allow for that but the way the Mets are going. the Collins way of reasoning is a failure.Charlie Manuel and Wille Randolph were the same."Nice" guys.Remember what Leo Durocher once said...'Nice guys finish last!"

Home they are 26-11, on the road they are 10-26. That's some crazy numbers right there.

Skitzo stats for sure and there has to be a reason and a correction.

This poor run production, if continued, will wear out the pitchers mentally as they will realize they don't have any margin for error.

Great outing by Syndergaard. Another lackluster display by the offense once again. Luckly, noah was on his game and Familia closed the game out 1-2-3. It looks like Grandy is starting to heat up.

The pitching is outstanding and Dan Warthen deserves the credit.The hitting is atrocious and that hitting coach has got to go.What a shame Wright, Murphy and D'Arnaud are out, this team could mount a pennant run with these young kid pitchers.Will be exciting to see what Matz has to offer.'Meet the Matz"!

I want Dee Gordon. Marlins are going to be sellers since Stanton now might be out for a while with a broken hand.

If anyone decides to go to the game Sunday, let me know...I'll be there watching the new kid. Tailgating will commence at 9:30!
