Looking at the radar the R/S line seems to be just below you. If you have t gone to snow yet you should soon. And my temp dropped 2 degrees in the past hour or so which hints the colder air is working south.

temp down to 29.1, about an inch or so, plows dropped already

NWS upped Suffolk county 12 - 16"

southern ocean county steady rain right now. heading even more south towards Atlantic City for work. Yuk. My northern friends enjoy the snow.

1.5" here at 5:55 about to go to 4" by 7:30

Literally just changed to sleet in freehold! Bring on the snow. I've been watching it pour for the past hour. Rain was coming down sideways.

30* and snowing with the wind whipping through. Temp has dropped 4* in 90 minutes.

Solid 6" here at my parents' place and ripping.

25 degrees heavy snow, plow just came through, 2 inches even at 6 am measurement. will try to take every hour to see hourly rates. I'm guessing 2 inches per hour about now.

Mid level frontogenesis is where your enhanced snowfall rats will be

Measured 1 inch about 15 minutes ago. Snow and wind really starting to pick up now. Here's where the fun starts folks.

Very low visibility, just pouring snow here. Have to easily be around 3-4 inches already.

24.4 and heavy snow. Has to be at least 2 inches per hour, will know at 7am measurement, was an even 2 at 6am. Ratios here should be excellent, temp keeps slowly falling.

Hey guys im here had get a little shut eye, radar does not look encouraging west of central eastern LI, looks like all those heave radar echos are going over NJ into LI and CT, will anything pivot? It is snowing sideways, surprised no blizzard but they did up the area to 10-14.

25.3, 89%, 29.35 F . Heavy snow. Eyeballing 3 inches.Plows been out for the last hour.Like you said,CP, this thing is FLYING.Radar looks good.If we get that 2 inch per hour, we will make that foot easy.Enjoy !!!
