That's a rather painful alternate possibility.

If RPM kept going to finish would NYC be in the 20-24+? So your not as confident but still time to change right? still I am not complaining i got a blizzard watch already and 12-18 with 50-60mph winds, but am always, as all others are hope for more.Frank_Wx wrote:If anything I am not as confident in a Roidzila now than I was this morning. The ridge in the west on latest guidance seems to be slipping east some...

Why do you want the winds? I hate wind with a passion, especially when cleaning up snow...

That's through about 1 pm Tue. If you look at the RPM loop Frank posted that also was through just afternoon Tue. And there's still heavy wrap-around snow as far south as the Delaware Bay to work through.

cuz thats what makes a blizzard, dont worry cleaning up the winds will mostly have passed, i think there will be a time of high winds not whole time, just a piece of mother nature that has always facinated me, everyone here knows lolmikeypizano wrote:jmanley32 wrote:If RPM kept going to finish would NYC be in the 20-24+? Frank we have to see by oz tonight and 12z tomorrow about the PNA. If it kicked east then we may have issue with Roidzilla and just be in Godzilla range. Nothing to freak out about but a possibility.

High winds lead to power outages which leaves me with no heat. Also I'll probably be out cleaning up up mid storm to try and keep up with it for my own driveway and any customers who want it done so they can go to work or anything.

Aresian my man. I get your frustration. I don't understand why people toss models. They are all just computer guess work. But here's why I'm not asking questions.
1. The NWS which is the most conservative of any weather forecasting agency put us in 12-18 3 days out. UNHEARD OF. GOVERNMENT HINGES ON THEIR EVERY WORD.
2. There's stil 36 hours till anything is set in stone
3. The local mets who are also very conservative are confident in a foot plus
4. Frank is too drunk to have changed the scroll (although to be honest his last post mentioning a deteriorating pacific ridge has me worried)

00z run tonight and 12z run tomorrow are going to blow us away, I think. The energy at hand is just now entering BC, Canada and will now be properly sampled over land.
I've got a GOOD feeling about it!

Mikey P paesan. Jman has a wind fetish. It's crazy. I don't get it but to each his own. As far as no heat if you live where you do and don't have a wood burning stove then shame on you. Shit I have one on LI and it's cranking right now

Skins do you think we have a shot at 6-8 at the coast that would be great if we could get that much?

Syosnow, we have a pellet stove so technically it is a wood burner.

So you're good Mike. People think I'm nuts for saying it but I WISH for power outages. Makes me feel better that I can provide heat and safety for my family

GEFS looks great for NYC. West of there, not really. Low is in a great spot though.

Not good as the stove is powervented and has room blower and auger motors as well.

I'm think that's conservative and achievable atm. But honestly we have not seen the final solution yet but I expect bigger amounts here. We will smell the rain and get the big snow
