925mb temps are crashing in response to the closed low position and winds out of the N/NE, but 850 temps are still struggling because of the screaming E flow off the ocean. That's where the warm nose is right now. 500mb and 700mb closed off in good position. Now we just need everything to shift east a little bit.

It's snowiiinnngggg!!!! Al u change yet I work up on executive Blvd. It's 36 here and snow sleeting heavy. Coating on colder surfaces.

Just took kids to school in West Orange. On drive had rain mixed with snow back to all rain then sleet mixed in. Car said 34.

Still 31.0 but now a drier consistency snow with no mixed rain or sleet.

Weird goings on above, expect anything at this stage.

Nws just issued areal flood advisory through 5 pm 2 plus inches rain wth? I hope they wrong cuz it's already mixing. Rivers very high. Saw mill near flood stage.

Half snow half rain 37 degrees here. North shore Long Island queens/Nassau border. 200+’ elevation. 11 miles east at my house just started mixing in some flakes on my wife’s windshield.

1 inch of snow in Stillwater Nj confirmed, sticking to the roads and grass at 1190 ft altitude now 31 degrees , wood burning stove cranking , pellet stove on 4 speed , snow shoveling fluid at proper temperature, good luck !

After a brief stint of rain, to freezing rain, sleet, back to rain, I now have a wet snow falling heavy in West Orange. Here we go!

Oh wow all snow in yonkers? My brief sleet mix is back to a very heavy rain now, despite the increased intensity.
Those Yonkers hills may help you.

this is not a complaining question but a actual question. Did this storm move north and east because it is really a non event in nj on the coast. Hardly any rain or wind even. Is that expected to change or is the storm not really happening here now

Snow sleet and rain here in Mount Vernon it looks predominately snow there's so much water on the ground I don't know how it's going to stick

Just now Bill Evans graphic had us changing to rain even up here by noon. Hoping he is still lost as all Mets other than our guys have been all week.
