Re: Wx Banter Thread 3.0
With a possible storm approaching why does the banter thread have twice as many pages used the last two days than the long range thread?
Is there some kind of end of season mania spreading among the forum?

Yeah, what she said. I've got a bit of storm fatigue, especially if the next threat is hinting at rain for the coast and metro. We can track for days (and we will) and we still won't know. After watching the models do the cha cha from run to run for weeks, I need to temper my enthusiasm.

Anyone ever get eye floaters.
Just noticed my first one about a week ago. Annoying beyond belief.
Any home remedies out there that anyone's used with any success?

CP, I know this is general banter, but I have had them for over 15 years.Like the tinnitis in my ears, you have to just live with them. It's a part of the aging process, the Vitreous layer in the inner eye starts to congeal and you see those areas as floaters. There is a procedure to drain the vitreous to relieve the floaters, but it is a very dangerous procedure.Google floaters to read up on them. So, to sum up, at age 67 I have arthritis in my knees, cataracts and floaters in my eyes, tinnitis in my ears, and acid reflux in my stomach.Other than that, I'm peachy keen,LOL.

Doc this aging thing isn't all it's cracked up to be, always better than the alternative though. I'll have to check with Mugs whom I believe has either been there and back or knows someone who has been, to see if that's the case.
I should have added as always Doc thanks for your input.

Doc speaks truely. I have them too. I tend not to notice them. I lock them out of my mind. They seem to go away. If I think about them, I see them.

Interesting Damian and thanks for the input, I went to the eye doctor and that's pretty much what she told me. She said your brain pretty much adjusts to them in time and blocks them out even though they're still there.
As I always am with doctors, I figured that was their safe speech and there must be some natural remedy out there they can't comment on.
Here's to hoping what's left of my brain adjusts quickly.

PSA
Tinnitus/hyperacusis, eye floaters, eye pain, crepitus or swollen stiff joints, stiff neck, headaches, muscle soreness, visual disturbances, photo sensitivities, gastrointestinal issues, night sweats, cognitive deficits, lethargy, quick to tire, Heart issues such as enlarged heart, arrhythmia, heart block (to name but a few) are indicative of possible Tick Borne Infections such as LYME or possible co-infections.
More than 50% of those bitten do not/will not present with a "Bullseye" rash. Symptoms can wax and wane.
Tick Borne Infections Questionnaire
Me: Lyme and co-infections un/misdiagnosed from 1999 to 2008.
Treatment with Lyme Literate MD 2008-2011
I still struggle with the aftermath (and possibly ongoing chronic infections)
DO NOT TRUST CURRENT BLOOD LABS AS THEY ARE EXTREMELY INACCURATE !
There is a specialty Lab in Palo Alto California that is considered the BEST in TESTING
IGENEX TBD Specialty Lab (TBD - Tick Borne Diseases)
I will be happy to help answer any questions as this is just a quick PSA from me.

I have had some of those before I got bit by a tick. They really need to find a way to kill them off...

Really interesting visuals on how America's winters are warming especially in the coldest places. From 1900-now. Really informative visuals if you all get a chance to look.
