Re: Pain in the Butt March 7th Godzilla: Observations
Just reached 15 inches, and pouring snow still. 29.8 degrees
I think eastern Orange County is jackpotting in the HV for this one.

1.5" snow on grass here. Slushy puddles on pavement.

CP, if this continues, and we get even a marginal event Monday, this may be the snowiest winter on your list there at the bottom.

Such drastic snow totals from members of this forum. I have about 8-9 inches, CP over a foot, and isolated places in the city and shores with less than 3.

7.5 in Wayne. Hard to believe that NBC has Franklin Lakes at 11, which is one town over!

Drastic difference between that radar and this high-def one I use. I can confirm it's still heavy snow here which the wunderground radar says has ended

About 3 inches, not exactly happy but its still really coming down and looks like this just sits but its so wet that it just seems to compact. Doesnt seem to be any power issues trees arent being weighed down much so thats a concern we can let go. Did you guys hear about the teacher struck by lightning in NJ earlier?

16 inches now. I was at 6 inches two and a half hours ago.
The local police just tweeted saying do not even attempt to drive. Main highways by my house shut down.

6” in Syosset. Puking still. Hopefully the dry slot stays south or the lull is temporary.

This band STALLED over you. Unbelievable. This is the type of band I was under Boxing Day 2010 when I got 34 inches of snow.

How is that possible being I am north of the city, this is not usually a issue. And LI usually rains yet your getting incredible reds on radar wow.syosnow94 wrote:NYC metro area. All 5 borough southern Westchester. All suffering from urban heat island Effect.

8-9 inches on car tops and still pounding the yellow band just stalled over us for last couple of hrs and keep dumping if it continues like that I may end up over foot

Getting crushed right now. I am definitely in the 1-3 inch per hour part. Just finished round 2 of shoveling and everything was covered with almost another inch by the time I was done. Heavy heavy weight to this stuff. I would suggest not waiting until this is over to shovel.
