Day, was Lake Hopatcong frozen before the storm?

Was not expecting it but I have to add a half inch due to a big squall yesterday and on and off snow showers much of the afternoon into night, and still flurries now.  So 22 inches, jackpot in my book. I will say I am not sure how it compacked so fast but it looks like about half now and its slush at the bottom, I guess it just got too warm.  I guess i will have to try something like a board on my fire escape to get a better measurement, but thing is its 2nd floor and much would probably blow away, maybe a wood box with no top? Any ideas for a apartment dweller? I guess I could ask my landlord if i could put small board with bricks underneath, but pretty sure he would think im a absolute weirdo for asking lol. I think if I did it on the side of the building no one would notice or care, problem is thats a bit of a wind tunnel and it causes major drifts.  Did anyone notice (Frank) that someone reported 140 inches on that NWS spotter map you found? I think they forgot the decimal lol

Picked up another 0.8 inches last night putting the final tally at 27.9 inches.

Damian you would add last nights total to your 26.5 from the day before, so your total would be 28.5 inches for the storm.

For those not aware snow depth is insignificant at this point to your snow totals since this has been a three day event. You add what you received in each day and that's your total.

Perfect example my snow depth last night was 24 inches and I received almost an inch overnight. My snow depth this morning was 23 inches. That's how compression works.
