Snow totals so far this season

Banter Thread 7.0 FJbPC2xWQAgfZx9?format=jpg&name=medium

Frustrating of course since we have a few misses and we've been head faked by our models a few times. Time will tell what this will look like in 2 months from now - over normal, normal or below normal is teh question?

Absolutely phenomenal research video on the volcanic explosion over the weekend. The truth will come out but he does an in depth look and research of what actually has been scientifically measured. Makes one ponder. Have a look if you want to learn and see what could be affecting our weather patterns the next 6 -18 months.

I've seen a lot worse and it's good to see the beaches and DC area getting some love. It takes one well timed event to change that distribution dramatically. So far we have not been lucky...

I don't see us getting a good winter (snow total doesn't mean jack if its from only a few storms to me) anymore. I rather go sit on the porch with my radio!

Yeah this has been a frustrating snow season so far to say the least. My parents live in Suffolk, VA - about 25 miles inland from Va Beach oceanfront. They hate snow but know how much I love it. Another gut punch on its way.

But for those of us that love the pain - any long term clown maps to tease us? The clinic is too far of a commute right now.

Rb, do you sleep?? 2:30 AM posts my man - I am in deep REM at that hour!!

I refuse to stay up for the EURO at 1AM from now on or the GFS at 11:30 anymore - nothing changes at 6:15AM when I get up so ..........

I am still believer in a crippling snowstorm for the NYC Metro region this winter as bleak as it may seem. My call for this past weekend was......just a bit outside as teh great Bob Ucker would say - 400 miles is nothing in the atmosphere of this planet LOL!

With all these near misses with snowstorms lately, old man winter owes us big time. How about conjuring up a 15 footer. That should satisfy everyone on this board!

Believe it or not, I do haha I work nights, so when I work I usually don’t get to sleep until between 4-5am lol usually wake up between 10-11am, although the last couple days I’ve been sleeping in since I’ve had days off from the gym haha

And yeah, we did get our big storm during the period of interest, but we just missed the snow.

Tonga Volcanic Explosion Saturday has been studied and revised to a 128,000 feet, 24 miles up into the atmosphere. THIS WILL HAVE A COLLING EFFECT 6-18 MONTHS down the road by about .3 Celsius. I have read and watched papers and videos so far and the new reviews are starting to SLOWLY come out but you won't see it and why?? Doesn't fit the agenda.
The data, satellite imagery, cross section Pentads of atmospheric games and visuals all show this Explosion was just below Pinatubo of 1991 which caused and cooling of the planet by a. 5 C. Remember 92-93 winter? Culmination of March Superstorm???
IF we get more of these VEI 4 and anotherb4 well you can draw some edumoocated (educated but pronounced in Paterson as this) guess.
Lastly, the only Volcano in recorded history to result in a TOTAL pacific rim tsunami. Atlantic island Indian are due up....not if but when!!!!!

If it doesn't esnt effect me...it is not to be!!
IF it DOES EFFECT ME.....well it is to be!!

Time will tell.
Major EQ do up as well and Pacific ring of fire is primed - West Coast of USA, - not if but when.

This would be a monster that Rb and I have been searching for!! 60 mph winds sub 960, 2-4/5" snowfall rates for 12 hours plus. This would make a weenie ween!!

The storm is on the models for 1/29-30 to one degree or another. Nice ridge in the west so it's something to keep an eye on over the next few days. But yeah the GFS 1/20/2022 12Z solution is best case scenario and that probably won't happen.

The GFS 28th time frame was a even bigger beast than what we were to possibly see tomorrow. But I will agree with Mikey but up the anty I have a better chance of winning the lottery without even playing lmao
