3-5" NEPA,NW NJ, Upstate NY > 1200' ASL mostly on colder surfaces but will even stick on pavement
Along 95 c-2" colder surfaces nothing on pavement
Towards immediate JS trace-c

You mean SE NY which encompasses the HV? Or upstate NY which I would consider Albany up through the adirondacks?

00Z NAM  I think IMBY I'll get some nice snow on the evergreens out of this one.  Just a few degrees colder and the pavement would have been nicely covered too.

I think 1-3" is going to cover it pretty much across the board unless you're higher elevation. And snow will make it up to Albany I think.

The storm is much more disorganized than what I was thinking. Was hoping predawn a good burst of snow for most folks to get their inch or two on cold surfaces. Fighting March sun coupled with poor rates and surface temps for most part > 32 most likely will yield <= 1" even on cold surfaces for most folks. Sorry folks this be a bust albeit expectations were low.

Really coming down here now.  The driveway is getting covered and the parking lot of the apartment complex behind me is also getting covered.  Grass is almost completely covered.  This all accumulated in just the last half hour or so.

Snowing since 9 am with only slush on cars and grass. Huge flakes coming down hard for a while, but melting fast. We're down to 34 from 38 so hopefully it will start to stick soon.

Nailed it again heehaw- that r/s line looks to be setting up NW from just to the north of Trenton and across i-95 to just north of the south shore of LI.

thanks senj. had this storm organized itself faster then i think we'd have general 1-2" verified on colder surfaces because the track is good for interior and it would have been pre-dawn. Very tough in March to accumulate without temps in the mid 20's. At these temps you'd literally need like 2"/hr rates which this storm doesn't have dynamics for.
