while I totally understand people being upset about a cool and wet MAY, as someone who gets bad seasonal allergies, with MAY being the worst month, I can only hope and pray that MAY turns out to be cool and wet.amugs wrote:YUCK for MAY!! I am waiting to go see the Yankees for this reason.
Like Mugs posted, we're in a below normal regime until the blocking breaks down. Early next week we'll get milder weather, but overall the first 10 days of May still look colder than normal. Once we get into the middle of the month I think the blocking breaks and sustained warmth finally arrives.

36 out there and wow windy. Steady 19. Gusts to 34. Was at my daughter’s lacrosse game. If the Shawangunks were any closer, they would have been behind me. COLD! Flower baskets keep getting recycled in and out. On another note, l had some spring corn from down south. Great to have some fresh corn. Made me feel summery.

Damian, wind howling up here 38 degrees, partly cloudy.My boiler says "enough already" but my AC is happy,LOL.
Those Shawangunks are amazing, driving over them on that mountain road is a fun trip.You must know up in Warwick off Route 1 on Little York Road is Scheurmann's Farm.They have great corn but the good stuff starts in August.Nothing like fresh farm corn!
