Many HV schools have called an early dismissal for this afternoons severe storms, never heard this before for such.

Rained here about 11:15 am. Not heavy. However, radar looks intense. Gettin dark again. Daughter’s school canceled everything after school. No early dismissal but I think it will be proven out that would have been a good idea. Winds are picking up at 15 moh. 77 at 1:15 pm. Last night we got half an inch. I expect we will get a couple of inches from this

Your area seems to be in the bullseye, not expecting anything too severe here, especially since the SPC got involved...the KOD for severe weather.

Sun is out, temps in the mid 70's here DP 64. Not expecting anything severe but hoping for a good storm. Marine layer, especially this time of year, is the KOD for LI lol.

Northern Orange county. Power is back on. The storms have passed. Dark clouds really flew by in the sky

A whole lotta oogotz out here on the Island with yesterday's weather. Like Alex said Marine layer is the KOD for us this time of year. Hope all are well.

Didn't really have anything out of the ordinary by me. Some brief heavy rain and a few rumbles of thunder. Very little wind. Nothing more than a garden variety spring storm.

Now I just know there will be some night this summer where there is just a "chance of an isolated storm" and it will be wicked and knock my power out. That's the way these summer storms go.

We did not have anything other than a quick downpour at around 7:30pm...threatening skies all day..but my new neighbors 1st time home owners were nervous all day long.

Beautiful day out today!! lets hope the weather in Europe is good for the next 2 weeks..leaving Thursday...first trip abroad since covid and prepping the paperwork and tests needed is not for the faint of heart..3 hours and 5 ridiculous apps on our phones later and we are ready. Please pray we test neg for covid on Sat in Venice!!

Another inch. Rained from just after midnight to say 5 am. 51 at 7 am. It was nice waking up in the middle of the night to the sound of rain

Very surprised by how quiet it is in here considering the tornado watch and severe thunderstorm warnings. I guess the bust the other day has folks unimpressed with this system
