Some storm hey Doc & Snow Man? Now I've seen it all, how many ways can we get scrooed?

But I keep repeating we've had 54 inches of snow this season so far, so why am I complaining.

CP, I have never seen a dry slot as bad as the one that f____d us over today! I knew hours ago we would bust low as it just did not fill in.

They are reporting changeovers in Essex County NJ and LI now.If that R/S line creeps into lower Bergen County-NYC, we will "smell the rain" and maybe pick up a quick extra inches.Back edge flying through mid PA now.

just got home from work. measured 3.5" and snowing moderately. here are 925's still plenty cold. must be a warm layer below this that is causing the change over.

this storm reminds me of Winter Storm Pax from last year when we were supposed to get a quick thump of snow and then rain but the mix line stalled on the south shore of LI and i ended up with over 14 inches here on the north shore. craziest dbz bands iv ever seen 3-4 inches an hour with 40 mph winds... damn i miss it

jman still very fine flakes by me. met on another board said this storm should look at 850-1000 thickness lines. 00z nam shows it moving north fast but crashes between 6z and 9z.

Moderate-heavy snow.Plow just went through.Dry slot finally filling in.Got a lot of catching up to do. 25 degrees.Must be 3 inches now.

as of 7pm cpk .2le and 2" of snow 10:1 ratio. since then .19le . lga .17le and 2.2" of snow. check out jfk .14le and 3.8" of snow. some thing wrong there.
le= liquid equivalent.
