Meh, take it slow. It's not a huge ice storm for our area. Moreso for PA. More ice came with the last storm for parts of the area.

Do you think flights will be leaving Newark around 5pm tomorrow? Boyfriend's mom is traveling out of Newark around that time.

its supposed to start out as bad icing from the start always best bet is to check first you may be able to get a flight in by 5 the roads getting there could be bad at that time

Ouch, might get delayed but since that is early on in the storm they may try to push it out before it gets too bad

Albany just put out Winter weather advisory 2-6 inches snow sleet with a TENTH of an inch of ice for mid-Hudson valley looks bad hyde no word of rain.

Ukie Snow Map for tomorrow night - I do not know if they include sleet in this. Anyone - I friggin take it!!

COUPLE EVENTS...SURFACE TEMPS WILL LIKELY BE LOWER THAN SHOWN BY
MAV/NAM MOS...WITH SUNY SB HI-RES WRF CLOSER TO WHAT WILL PROBABLY
HAPPEN. ALOFT...WOULDN`T BE SURPRISED TO SEE A COLDER TREND BY

Upton updated their snow map, 2-3 inches for the entire metro.

They did mention scattered snow and rain showers after daybreak Wednesday but by that time the heavier precip is over. I expect 2-4 inches of snow, transitioning to sleet after 9 or 10pm and then to freezing rain after midnight. Should be a real mess for Wednesday morning commute in the mid-Hudson valley.
