What makes the NAM wrong in this situation? We have stated many times over that the precip shield should extend more north than what the long range models show due to the confluence to the north. Not saying the precip amounts would be correct because we all know the NAM is over done, but it is getting within its range and the long range models are getting out of range. Maybe the short range models are on to something with the north trend...

The Nam brings the low to just at the Benchmark, then it spins up another one just off Ocean City Md. which slowly meanders east and dissipates. Is this even possible Frank? Then to top it off it brings 30" of snow up into the Hudson Valley? I hope it's true, but this is absurd no?????????????
