April 4th Hudson Valley Snow Event

Got 2.5 inches overnight and early this morning. Most schools closed. Stopped about 9AM and now just cloudy and 31*. Expect just some scattered rain/snow showers for the rest of day with little additional accums. Picked up 4.5 inches this weekend so that makes April snowiest month this winter, uh, spring, whatever.

Now it is snowing ,sleet in and raining a lovely wintry mix in April.
The pattern fir the weeeknd and early next week is not good fir spring lovers either! !

29* and some light snow/sleet now. Never got above freezing and picked up another 1.5 inches today for a total of 4. Not a bad storm for people north of 84 who suffered miserably this winter.

2.5 inches total at my house before leaving for work. Looks like it was winding down.

I can't remember the last time Walton-Roscoe got more snow than folks S and E. That area was always jackpot zone in the 50's, 60's and 70's.
