Where is JMan? I'm seeing talk of 20-25 mph winds tomorrow with 40-50 mph gusts; I know you're usually on top of these wind events.

Accuwx says winds past 45 mph tonight to tomorrow. Where do they get their info? No nws alerts and it's dead quiet out.

Haha! :-) I've been waiting for your input. I haven't seen any wind advisory which is unusual if winds are going to be that strong. That's enough (from past experience) to rattle my house and bring down tree branches. I do see a Gale Warning up for the coast.

At noon tomorrow Accuweather has me with a sustained 28 mph wind and 48mph gusts.

Me too, but their wind forecasts can and often are way out of wack, I looked at SR 925mb winds, nothing really except over the water as the system intenisifies into Maine, if anyone knows otherwise they can chime in.

Lapse rates will steepen this afternoon as a cold pool aloft
builds in. The 00Z NAM produces about 80-180 J/kg of CAPE. As the
mid level trough passes through around midday, isolated to perhaps
even scattered snow squalls cannot be ruled out. Although
widespread impacts are not expected at this time, the threat has
been highlighted in the Hazardous Weather Outlook due to the
intense, albeit brief, potential activity.

Still plenty of snow left in northern/western parts of Orange County. Can see it in the distance coming down route 6 in Central Valley.

1-2" over my house!!!! Where do I sign?

Just had a snow squall here for about 10 minutes - call it a flizzard!!

I guess these are the winds accuwx were talk about. Very gusty currently about 39 degrees but that's car reading which is usually too high. Had a small snow shower but some darker clouds around. That strip has me under a dusting to a inch looks like but right now radar isn't too inpressive.

Very heavy snow squall here right now. Sticking to colder surfaces.

Just had absolute ripping for 18 minutes here , white coating on ground!!

Snowing like gangbusters, sideways with wind. Sweet. Mini blizzard lol.

Just clipped me, some areas in NJ look like they may see an inch, in 15 min I got a good coating.
