Sorry to hear that, what I don't understand is we left at 4:10 and flight UA 1043 was to leave at 6:30 also for Newark airport ,they canceled that flight before we even boarded our plane and said the reason was weather, crazy !

Today's temp drop so far

43*. After a High of about 62* here today an impressive drop. Also has dropped about 3-4* in the last two hours. Should be cold enough for snow by the time the precipitation comes in, or shortly thereafter.

45.1 here right now, 13 degrees to go, hopefully starts to fall fast soon.

UKMET has a more expansive precipitation field than previous runs, so Alex, I think you will be in a good spot!!

40° here in Stony Brook down 19° from a high of 59° today.

Current dew point temperature is 30° which need to be less the 32° for snow.

Temp 34* now. Had a high of 53* today. Snow is almost in my area. It should start in a couple of hours. Channel 4 in NY up there snow totals. Calling for 10-15 inches in my area now. We'll see what happens. My company gave us a delayed opening, but we have to call at 8:30am to see if they decided to close altogether. I wasn't planning on commuting 62 miles to get there anyway. LOL !

It backed off on amounts north and west, though.

Seems to be a little warmer at the shore. Sitting at 45 still in Bradley Beach right on the water.
