A tree fell across the Hutchinson River Parkway around Exit 18 road crews clearing it now. Parkway backed up to Exit 23 feel bad for those cars stuck there doesn't look any one got hurt

I saw some power line damage along the Sprain Pkwy a little past Jackson Ave exit. Trees are really rocking..and cars.

Strongest winds of the winter hands down for me. First time I've actually been concerned about damage.

3500 power outages reported in westchester alone 5500 in entire area. Lots of branches large ones too down not on wires.

Mugs I nailed this one in fact under estimated it for up here. Nws fault they did not think 850mb winds would mix. Oh they coming down. Winds are in bursts here not constant.

maddone mia it was not fun driving on the throogs neck bridge i was doing 45 mph to 35 mph and my car was shacking everyone was swerveing

I think the winds are dying down but someone told me he heard on news there's one more bout of strong winds gonna blow through. Any merit to that? Sorry mobile can't do in depth check.

yes it was, they were crashing all over around here, lots of damage spoke to a Con Edison worker said the NWS did not prepare them for this. Lots of cleanup some may not be done until tomorrow. So the top gusts which were way above my expectations were in LI 72mph and White Plains Airport 72mph. Others ranged from 40-60mph, that was a awesome wind event, one I have not seen in quite some time.
