Okay peeps two days to go and we are in the final stretch of summer and hearing up for our favorite season of winter. Look at this, recurve g tropical cyclone causing a wave break in the PAC allowing a yuuuge PNA ridge to build and a deep trough to form over the rest of the USA.
This keeps getting deeper and deeper, wouldn't be surprised if we see massive frost warnings for this section of the country.

It does look like September will start off on the cooler side. Maybe mid-80's on Labor Day. Looks like overcast with showers this weekend though.

The greatest negative temp departures appear to be confined to the Ohio Valley and Southeast. Some of that will spill over into the Northeast. Probably 0 to -2 temp departure for the month.

Yep, 41 up here in northern Orange County. Sun is getting lower, light is different, and some leaves are starting to find their way to the ground. Where exactly was summer again?

42 yesterday morning bottomed out at 39.4 this morning.

Wow CP hit the 30's at nite on Sept 2nd!!! Driving back from Town I notice trees already changing and some dropping leaves.Needed a light jacket here yesterday, chill in the air.Getting dark sooner.Fall in less than 3 weeks now.School starts in a few days.

Uo in Sparta yesterday and everyone except mwha was is jeans and aweashirts. I wore shorts and a jacket LOL and sat by the outdoor fire until the rains came around 6.

It is aweful humid also that nothing interesting going happen. This has been worst spring till now year in terms of anything remotely interesting. I sure hope winter isn't the same.

Looks warm till around the end of the month. The upcoming weekend might be able to call it hot.

I was going to say the same. Temps in the beginning of the month had it look like it would be average or even below average for the month. Now we're definitely going to end up above normal. I heard some Mets call for a mild fall. Either way my a.c. goes off October 1st. Time to save some money lol.
