Latest NAM shows 1 to 3 inches of snow, with ratios, accumulating by 8am Thursday morning on Long Island. Everyone else is expected to see about an inch or less of snow.

RGEM and now GFS coming in with about 0.2" qpf...esp over LI a quick fluffy 1-3" is entirely possible

Another does thing to possibly two inches of snow for me tomorrow morning I am happy to see we are having a colder in some snow so far but I want the big one when is it coming

The latest HRRR is suggesting that while the first snow falls between midnight and 9 AM, there is a break in snow from about 3-6 AM.

Not expecting much. Typical clipper, will break up and dry out a bit over the mountains. But cold ground temps so everything that does fall should stick, so that helps. I'd be happy to wake up to an inch or two of snow tomorrow. Even a coating keeps me in the holiday spirit.

Just started here in Binghamton. Ground is so cold and the snow is so fluffy that it dusted the ground in just a few minutes. Not going to need a lot of precip to get accumulations with this one.

Nice fetch that goes back to Michigsn, we may get some ocean enhancement once the upper levl.lp hits the warm Atlantic and throws some heavier /moderaate bands back into enjoy and throughout LI and NY Metro
