I hate to get political but he's a big, dumb, brainless Ape, who thinks he knows it all, but in reality the insects he walks on have more intelligence.
I suppose that can't be construed by anyone as political it was definitely more personal.

Wow. Upton still has not updated yet? If you go by the NAM 03z run expect a big uptick in totals.

It's been snowing lightly all night have a coating on the coldest surfaces remember the Main show doesn't start until late morning into this evening nice Trends on the models. we always have to remember I think as Frank said is part of our forecasting is to use past analogs. it always seems that these coastal lows want to head to the Benchmark and not hug the coast can't wait for the 3 to 4 in per hour rates this afternoon

So question for coast is stickage. If it’s coming down at 2-3 an hour it should stick???

Re: Pain in the Butt March 7th Godzilla: Observations
SR models all have me 12”+. TWC just upped me to 9-15”. Upton has me 3-6”. WRF? Â
Hopefully stickage isn’t a problem. No white rain please

Rgem 3km nam and hrrr all have over a foot for NYC and surrounding areas. Majority sees a foot but these models honing in on a area in or near NYC.

Storm looks disorganized, I'm aware the full show hasn't taken place yet.

Wow only a few windshields have a tiny bit of snow, nothing on ground even cold surfaces and its not doing anything out. Concerned either 1. We get shafted and get nothing like last time or 2. My wife obviously has to go to work and gets sent home early midday or at 5pm usual time, and if we get slammed thats go be very dangerous.

I don't believe the LP has even formed yet, this is the pre-show (or so called, nothing going on here models failed that, most had me at least few inches by now) before the coastal comes up.@dsix85 wrote:Storm looks disorganized, I'm aware the full show hasn't taken place yet.

Re: Pain in the Butt March 7th Godzilla: Observations
TWC has me 12-18 on their map, a foot or more in local forecast and the NWS says 7-11, pretty big diff. Seems TWC is buying SR and NWS is discounting them. Even though the LR which are useless now also came around.

Smitty!! Welcome to the board! Did you sleep at all last night? ha ha
I hope we get what the 06z NAM indicates, but I'm not going all in on this by any means. Not until the radar improves, it's all rain right now. Also, NWS and TWC have us with a big goose egg right now...its hard to totally dismiss BOTH of them this close to game time. Finally, both Jman and Syo are already sniffing out that something may be amiss!
I'll remain skeptically optimistic, this is a hard time of year to accumulate for us being this far south and this close to the ocean as it is. To overcome an inch of rain as well is a tall order. That's why I'm skeptical.
But that 06 Nam though! That's why I'm optimistic! We'll see...time to see where she goes and how cold it gets.
