Measure a bit more than 4 inches already! Started coming down much harder now, main roads had gottren wet again but if this stays itll fill right back up. Plows are out.

Quakertown, PA has a foot

Frank what is going on with the HRRR which doesn't seem at all to square with what we see on the radar?

Going south to peekskill in an hour for work. Is it snowing there. Nothing in southern Dutchess

It does appear PA is making out best so far in this storm. Just saw a PADOT statement about them having difficulty keeping up with the snow.

28 degrees and 1 foot has been achieved! 2 inches/hour rates continue and March sun is no match for this especially now sun angle is getting lower. Minimal wind and very cold surface temperature have been keys IMO.

Incredible March (spring) snowstorm! I think this puppy got many more inches left IMBY.

34* moderate/heavy snow, large flakes now. Starting to stick on driveway and road.

Does the storm still stall off the coast

Wow! Hoping I can see that out my window late tonight, do you think there could be full closures tomorrow too being it ends only a few hrs before travel starts or just delays? I would not mind a half day, a full day means I lose another april vacation day.

The storm just isn’t going to get strong enough. The upper level pieces are in good positions but just not enough vorticity in the end to deepen the storm rapidly enough for those 2 to 3 in snow bands . Still a decent to fairly big storm for early spring standard in this part of the country.

The HRRR and most models for that model have performed so poorly. They should all be ashamed of themselves. Just follow real-time observations. Ignore models.

It has not moved from this spot for a couple of hours now

Intellicast does not have the snow completely out of my area until 5:19am!!!

Incoming bands along the Jersey Shore, seeing them on radar and out my window but will it pile up to be 9 inches....we shall see sun angle is low and pavement is getting covered.

Question, if Mt. Holly is calling 8-12 for Toms River area does that mean still to come???

I hear ya Syos but it still is a big storm for us for early Spring.
