Can share since it is on a public media forum as per EURO new guidelines.
Interesting to see what the o'l coot (no not you Doc or CP) but the GFS is going to say at the 0z run if it comes North again and more latent with moisture.
One observation off twitter is showing heavy sleet in Tenn with lots of lightening. They weren't to get this precip but rather sleet to heavy rain. Let's see who this bodes for us

Hey mugs I think that 1-2 in ocean and Monmouth County will most likely bust imo

Re: Snow Events Week of 02/17
Back in 2014, on January 20th, I got a new laptop. The next day, a snowstorm happened. Today, I got a new laptop. Tomorrow, there is snow in the forecast, though nothing like that one and more like a combination of the snowstorm from last week and the snowstorm from last November, at least for NYC.
Tomorrow's event should involve snow coming in mid-day with a changeover to sleet by sunset and then plain rain soon after. The wild card is how the long snow lasts. Last week, it lasted less than two hours before the sleet changeover, resulting in about an inch of snow. Last November, the snow lasted five hours before the changeover. Of course, the aforementioned November storm was accompanied by heavy snow rates, something which should be confined mainly to the Philly-DC region. While I expect the duration of the snow to be like that November snowstorm, I don't see the heavy rates accompanied by it.
As a result, I see a 1-3" snow event for the region. Once the system passes, it looks to warm up to around 50 degrees on Thursday.
