Large moderate to heavy band with 35-40 DBZ snow working into the staten island, new brunswick, and nassau area.

Band strengthening and slowly moving in. About to sit over me for hours. Already a couple inches of powder.

Blitzing on the south shore. Radar filling in just south of the city. Couple days ago it was showing the band in south jersey.

The heaviest snow of this band is for now over the ocean. A jump 15 miles north and this would be 6-12 inches for long island

I have to have 5+ inches out there, still snowing pretty good out there. Definitely over performing here and first winter storm warning in forever cheers

Damn that band in NJ resulting in 3-4” an hour rates And near a foot of snow already.

Not home. But I got into that 35 dBZ band east of quakertown as per my cams. Looks 6” easily. Neighbor will measure.

on the deck alone 11 inches and it's still snowing!
PS Dash is like where do I go??!! Is this a trick? Lol I have a yellow snow bank on the deck

Looks like 5-6” here in Long Branch, exit 105 of the GSP. Narrowly missed getting in on that mega band from 11-1 last night that may have given us a run at double digits, but no complaints. Second storm this week to drop at least 4” imby. Might get another inch , but it looks like the intensity has dropped as the storm starts to scoot quickly out of view.

And still more potential on the table for next week! Woot woot!

Went out and measured 10 inches on my patio here in Edison,, biggest storm in a while. Nice to bust to the high side every once in a while

Mega band AND RATIOS!! At about 3 out here. Moderate snow still coming down. Mugsy was spot on with the over performer comments last night. Maybe not in your(not you specifically Frank but anyone)back yard but the jackpot zone clearly did. As was stated a few times the baroclinic zone is extremely difficult to predict in models. It will be interesting to see what the WPF was in the areas over 6-8”. Phil if your reading and weather mom was is your current surface temps? Anyone with over 6-8” please report temps too. I’m curious.

At the beach in Cape May County this weekend. 34* and Cloudy, snow stopped by 6 am here. Looks to be 1.5”. I’m on a barrier island so inland might have been all snow and colder surfaces so they could have got 2-3”. Started with some rain mixed and didn’t last long.
Based on the radar (and the posts above) it looks like Central NJ cashed in the best.
Would love to know how much I got back home in Hunterdon.

Measured 3.25 inches out there and 30 degrees.
Not too bad of a week. 7.25 Tuesday and another 3.25 today gives a whopping 10.5 inches!
We keep this up and we will end up with normal snowfall for the year! LOL.
