Haha Northern Bergen County missing out on precip again! Cells firing north and south of us.... doc and mugs, you know any storm dances? Would love a good thunderstorm!

I didn't even know till outside I see the bubbling clouds. Radar looks like that line will train right over southern westchester. Moving ne from what it looks like.

The one celll went right over me, clouds were pitch black but not a drop of rain!

Areal flood advisory issued for my area and a severe t-storm warning just north of me in white plains area. Odd thing is just some light rain and cell right over us like Dunzoo said.

It looks like a potential serious training situation is setting up over the metro. Raining heavily now and by the looks of radar, it's not ending soon.

It's kinda of a bizarre line. But ya who ever is under that train is getting a lot of rain. Inches even.

Flash flooding closing roads in Jersey City and Newark from the training rain...funny how its curving around almost like there is an eye...and Mugs, doc and I are in the middle dry center!

hey soul, its literally like knocking at my door step but staying just south unless it enxpands in size northward I may miss the rain. Few drops and lighting down towards manhattan but not much here.

The storms tonight have been very trolly. From 8 to 8:30, they were going through lower Manhattan, Brooklyn, and the southern portion of Queens and it looked like it was going to be a near miss for me, but then it took a sharp turn and headed due east instead of southeast and with the other cells in northern NJ apparently merging together, it has been raining hard for the last hour and it doesn't look to let up within the next couple of hours. Central Park is going to get a lot of rain tonight that's for sure...

Yonkers is like Due east on Tenefly NJ, just over the river, and the cutoff is pretty much the hudson river but iot appears to be filling in and lightning has been getting more frequent but not close.

Wundermap stations are not very accurate, while most NYC stations are showing over a inch one station Dutch Kills shows 90 inches of rain lol, umm yeah right.

the next two days are going to be beautiful. mostly sunny temps in the 80-85 range. no hurricanes no severe weather, just like summer should be! enjoy!

Happy Memorial Day everyone. There's a chance some areas hit 90 degrees today. Most likely upper 80's though.

Unsettled weather returns tomorrow with rain showers and possible thunder showers tomorrow afternoon into Wednesday morning.
