I'm guessing it may not even include NYC unfortunately frank please give me at least some snow but 6 plus be great lol. I will revel in what's to come for nw areas. Frank any chance you can do a quick wind map? I'd do my own cuz I have a decent idea but I don't know how to do those maps.

No, talking Sullivan, Orange, and Rockland counties

12z NAM coming in now. Looks like the secondary low is trying to develop faster

Green is 1-3” of rain. Snow mixed in at times no accumulation
Yellow is 1-2” rain.  Change to snow Friday pm. 1-3” on grassy surfaces
Blue is rain to snow a Friday AM 2-5” mainly on colder surfaces
Red is snow all through a Friday. 5-10”.

*Red and Blue areas of elevation near or over 1000’ 12-16” with 2’ in the High peaks of the Catskills

Interested to see what kind of gradient you are thinking there will be. In Flemington I am not exactly NM NJ but I'm pretty close.

I laughed at this at first as initially I wasn't sure what i was looking at. But I appreciate the effort and actually looks like a decent representation. Gotta respect that.

Very good.

It's painfully clear the primary low will be too strong, and by the time the transfer occurs, most of our area is flooded with too much warm air. The secondary low will not be strong enough (no bombogenesis or anything like that) to pull the colder air in fast enough to cool the columns.

I will have a map soon for comparison.

Nam looking good so far clozes off h5 very early should be a bomb

I have a question this block that everyone is talking about. How long do the experts here think it will stick around? Is it something we need to worry about come hurricane season

Storm has stalled on the NAM and CCB is bringing blinding snow to NEPA, NJ, NYC

Through March 20th.

Another storm system possible around March 7th

By 4 p.m. 3 in in to Manhattan and a foot in the Hudson Valley

Frank I don’t know much and I’m really starting to go crazy with all these back and forth but.......

If the 12kNAM verifies and it snows through Friday night, we are all looking at a blizzard with Godzilla amounts no?

Frank the primary is strong but the secondary WILL be stronger. By like 20mb once it’s stalls.

I'll say this about the NAM. If it is wrong, it is going down with the ship, because it has remained steadfast throughout that this WILL change to snow for most and it WILL accumulate. Here we are under 24 hours away and it is still essentially spitting out the same result it has since Monday evening.
