Re: Banter Thread 5.0
So I was in Bellerose staying with my parents for the December 16-17 winter storm when Bellerose got a snow/sleet mix while my place in Albany got walloped with two feet of snow. Now, the models have Bellerose getting walloped with a Godzilla in a few days while I am here in Albany where I may get a few inches at best. Friggin awesome.....

I absolutely love a daytime snowstorm. I’ve seen such heavy snows on Long Island that you literally can’t see things 50 yards about the back door. Getting excited.

Re: Banter Thread 5.0
For the first time for weather I may have to put my ebay store on vacation mode till mid week as I am not confident I can fullfill orders monday or even tuesday. I have one I dunno what I am going to do as it has to go out monday...
On another note my daughters Friend Eli got great news today, kind a miracle being they said it was go be a awful 6-12 months. She is far from done but the most intense chemo is DONE!! And she is allowed to go home and do remote learning again since before xmas. Poor girl is go have a lot of catching up to do, NY schools are brutal I hope they take it easy on her she is still weak, and will be for some time but it looks like its all positive so far from here!

I spent the holiday season with my parents in Bellerose. I was there during the December 16-17 event in which Bellerose got 7.6" while my area up in Albany got 22.9."
Now I am back in Albany and my folks in Bellerose are poised to get 18-24" of snow while I am set to get 6-10" here.
Just can't seem to get the big one.

Ugh. I feel for you. On the bright side, if you get 6-10" that's a pretty big snowstorm. Imagine if Albany was only getting a coating or a couple inches. In fact, if it weren't for the outrageous totals being spit out by the models in this storm, I'd consider 6-10 a big storm in these parts. lol
