Snowing nicely up here. Trees are covered. Looks like 4 inches. That suits me. Very nice. Temp is 31 degrees.

I am guilty of getting into the big storms and getting blasted. These last couple of storms have reminded me of how nice it is to see the gentle snow over time. It makes me feel that love of winter that has been so up and down but this winter, this February...has been great. Winter as it should be.

About 3 here as well Hyde! Starting to slow down here, models did a very good job with this. Albany needs to wake up a little earlier next time!

Couldn't agree more. Nice to look at, and not too bad on the spine. Though I could have done without the tail end sleet/rain in these last two storms, I'll take it with the nice front end thump of snow

Nice to see all the northerners get their fill cheers

I'd like to see one more widespread, no changeover storm. But I think that notion will be fading this week just like our snowpack.

Bleck this is awful, raining and cold and slop. Oh well We got about a inch before it changed, glad for you al lthat did well and didn't get the rain, theres nothing worse than cold rain and trudging through snow cones.

I have knocked so many icicles off my house in the past few weeks that it’s ridiculous! I’ll knock these off tomorrow, after my driveway gets shoveled. I go in and out via the garage anyway.

After the 5" today I have at least 18" snow depth. Just a beautiful thing! Talking to neighbors they have had enough. I tell them I'll probably go into a depressed state when the snow melts. Some people on this board can relate to that I'm sure. But I get strange looks.

Mugs, thanks for posting these totals. It looks like I did an inch better than most spots in Orange county. Mugs, as an aside, I heard from Joe Malafry today to confirm my next order.

Yes, Damian, the trained spotter in Monroe has me for 3 inches.Nice little snowstorm in the magic month of February this year.

Final tally was 3.4 inches here, 58.7 now for the season and 40.7 inches for February.

This is now rivaling the March 2 through April 2, 2018 period when we tallied up 49.6 inches of snow IMBY. This period of course is better because we are not battling a March and early April sun doing it's thing to the snow pack.

For those with short memories, actually February 2014 was better than this current month. NYC had 29 inches of snow that month vs 26 inches so far in Feb 2021. IMBY I had 41.7 that month vs. 40.7 this month. February 2014 was colder than this current February too which in my mind made it a better month, along with the slightly higher snow amounts.

Not to say that this month hasn't been an A+ because it has. February 2014 was just an A++

BOOM Malafy is the man - people will be hounding him for meat as we approach the tipping point of the cattle industry destruction in the country and the world if left up to some.
Have to look at when the report was - Sparta showed 2.9" at 1:28 when it snowed until 4/5PM there - they were 1.5 -2" off.
I hate that they put that in for STORM TOTALS
