By the way it’s snowing pretty much all day tomorrow on the NAM starting at 10am. Some areas see one inch due to high ratios

The 18z EPS have leaned even more to the left, with a distinct cluster of members west of the mean (despite some double-barrel type lows). Individual members show a large number of members with a heavy snow axis west of the operational. This will come down to the wire. pic.twitter.com/WCQ0TFCyRO

Look at the “S” curvature the vorticity on the front side. That’s indicative of a rapidly maturing mid-level cyclone.

Earthlight says
Tremendous improvements with the 250hPa jet streak...divergence aloft is increasing...this is much better. Gonna come west!

Re: JAN 29th 2022 “Heart Ache” Nor’easter Part II
CLOSED at about 16z-17z. We’re still looking for a 12z H5 closure but once again the NAM trended in that direction
Oh and 700mb closed south of LI around same time

Re: JAN 29th 2022 “Heart Ache” Nor’easter Part II
Good improvements on the NAM.
Move it up 3 -4 hrs earlier and close it off and we are golden.
Very nice tucked like RB said of Hatteras. Great call and improvement
