Haven't seen the Adirondacks and Green Mountains of VT look this bad in many years before March 21. Maybe they get some snow this Saturday. But wow I'm not even bothering going up for a March run.

I'm glad I got to see a nice 3" event with below freezing surface temps. A nice way to turn the calendar. I'm not expecting anymore winter threats at this point until next season. My winter grade is unaffected by March and call stands as is.

24* and a coating on the grass down in Berkeley Township, exit 80 GSP. It looked like we accumulated close to an inch between 4-6 pm last night, but the winds were howling last night down here too, so I guess it mostly got blown away?

10 day forecast as of tomorrow tells the story...routine mid 50's during the day and low-mid 40's at night for the Shore. I think the LR thread is getting locked up pretty soon. lol

Mother's day to Father's day tends to be our spectacular spring period, so for now I guess I'll just wait for the nice but intermittent bbq days. Of course, for me that means anytime it's not raining, but I use a more conventional def'n of 'bbq days' for all you normal people.

Yeah, I just told my 11 yr old the same thing about no more sub-freezing temps till next season. I was stunned how quickly and sarcastically she came back with, "You said that like 10 times last winter before you were finally right..." Shocked

I remember someone’s daughter actually posted when her dad was away from his computer for a few minutes after an all-nighter tracking a big storm. Kids can be so funny.

we are now entering what I affectionately call “Bowling Ball Season”. And in the pattern we will have coming up, don’t be surprised to see more potentials “sneak up” on us in the short range. We are going to have a lot of backdoor, sneaky high pressures cutting through southern Canada. And you know what they say about backdoor friends being best, yes? Wink
