that map puts me in the 40-50MM which is about 15-18" of snow i think. i'll take that in a heart beat. still GGEM gives me about 6-8 hrs of slop

A hudson valley Blizzard would be amazing. Anytime the city is the battle zone I do the best. Amazed to see the snow totals south of the tri state on some of these maps.

NJ, why did you say ugg to the Mt. Holly map? We don't have anything up here in HV or NYC yet either is that why your saying?

Hey NJ it wasn't me this time! But it could be possible with snow and wind, this storm as strong as it is I imagine is going to have quite a wind factor. Not much spoken about that yet though.

That's why, no watches = nobody caring hence the little said about this storm with TWC and others up our way.

I agree NJ, I would imagine this evening or tomorrow morning at latest, here I believe a watch is issued for 36 hours before a storm is usual rule. Also is it just me or does bernies snow map look a bit far west for the 12-18?

Im thinking track will be in between the euro modelscand american models.

Watches will be up with the afternoon update which is usually around 3:45-4pm

Maybe we should take Godzilla down form the top, I don't think this is going to any Godzilla form what I'm hearing now. More like a nuisance snowstorm for most of us from NYC and East (including Long Long Island and the Jersey Coast).

What exactly are you hearing and from who?

Does anybody have any thought's of what the Eastern PA. area will end up with this event. I'm the only member that lives in this area so I'm curious to know if I will miss out on the big snow fall totals. From the way it sounds it sure looks possible. Thanks.

skins, breath, im doing some relaxation now lol. It will all come into place, we have made it thus far and seen some very good runs. Believe in the godzilla!

Sorry, I should have said it seems since all the talk of rain and mixing in the forum is leaning me towards that reasoning of a nuisance snowstorm .

Nah, no apologies needed. Its fun/annoying to watch the models waver back and forth. Even with mixing we should all see a nice snowfall amount from the sounds of it.

There will be mixing with some rain with this storm ! But its early to say where at this time this is a very tough storm to predict I think it will be radar watching with this one!
