0z Euro has 85-90 degrees for the entire area on Tuesday and Wednesday. It is still showing the potential of a big rain event next week.

Weekend looks OK. Some clouds and maybe a shower on Saturday. Temps in the 60's
Next week- WARM
Specifically Wednesday-Saturday with temps getting into the 80's
What happened to those warm temps in the 80s??

Sunday is a different story.
Monday could even make a run for 90, then we cool down.
It's a little early to start talking about this, but could we see our first widespread strong thunderstorm threat late in the day on Monday?
Monday and Tuesday next week there could be some thunderstorms. Not thinking severe at the moment. Saturday due to rain and cloud cover we probably won't get into the 80's, but Sunday-Tuesday next week is a different story. 90's possible!
Are you still thinking 90s for next week? I think NOT!

I hate those rollercoaster weeks. We're going from 60s and 50s now to 80s and 90s next week them back to cooler weather. Now I know why so many people are getting sick.

55* with drizzle and east wind at 12mph. feels like mid march. warm up will start on sat but more likely to see 80's sun thru tues. not sold on it yet especially near the coast but temps will get well into the 70's.

Euro 10 day rainfall is insane for eastern CT and RI 6-8 inches! I think its all dependent an the storm i posted in the tropics section, which BTW both models still show on the 00z, CMC backed off on intensity but has it moving straight all way up the coast after developing over the carribran, but as ace told me CMC likes to blow up these warm core systems way too much, i still say keep an eye on it.

Weak signal on the Euro EPS last night. Will have to watch the models the next few days, storm signal could be lost, or stay.jmanley32 wrote:Euro 10 day rainfall is insane for eastern CT and RI 6-8 inches! Looking pretty soggy this weekend, besides Sunday, into next week with scattered showers and thunderstorms developing ahead of a cold front. At least it will be somewhat warm with temps in the 70's, but cloud cover and rain could mitigate that. Not sure NYC gets into the 80's early next week anymore.

Ohh I like t-storms, gimmi a good loud one like the one this morning but it was only one boom, but damn it it cause a impact lol. Question the CMC is still showing a potential cyclone of some sort, even bastardi tweeted that it is model feedback probably, how long does model feedback usually happen for? Its been about two days of runs with this storm showing. Havent seen Euro yet but it was also hinting at some signs of a development.

Monday looks like temps in the upper 70's to low 80's as heights rise ahead of an approaching cold front. Going to feel really humid as well, with isolated showers and storms.
Tuesday it looks like the easterly winds off the ocean try to keep NYC Metro area on the cooler side compared to Philly Metro

Doc,
But my new plantings and grass are doing wonderful now - this time last month we were looking at some snow incoming for our area - my this spring has been awful like you said - then in another week or two after we wring out all the rain we can next week - BAM - summerlike temps and humid!
Mugs - 64* and Cloudy
