Great cell over us, heavy rain, no wind, temp dropped 12* in about 30 minutes.....down to 70*

Just got pounded here in Bklyn, 1.25" in 40 minutes, a little thunder, 2 nice shots of lightning. Letting up now.

Sky got green here, some winds showers nothing much. That CMC still showing a coastal low next week. Still on its own but thats run #9. This run takes it right along the skirt of coast and into NYC. Not that I believe it still but the CMC just doesnt seem to want to let go of this senario. So far the rain totals do not look terrible ace. Regardless of CMC Euro shows heavy rain and 10m wind gusts in the 45-55knot range so we could have some tropical storm like conditions with the passage of the front, we will see.

It looks like whatever is going to happen will be around 16-18th. Of course could be off but thats when most models show the bulk of rain, Euro anyways.

This is our cluster of rain and t-storms we need to watch either develop or connect with the front to enhance the rainfall, probably the latter.

hey everyone my brother who lives just outside of Denver, CO. is getting snow as I write this. they are expecting 8-10" with up to 2' in the mountains. what a great mother's day gift. wish I was there. happy moms day to all the moms on here!

Gorgeous morning - let's enjoy this day for it will be the last day this week of this nice weather................................... unless you are a frog or duck that is!!!!!!!!!!

I eat crow and humble pie from this post yesterday - it is really nice outside right now 70* with a light breeze and sunny - I'll tak eit.

Things seem to be lessening up in terms of qpf for our area so it seems on the maps - keeping things mainly to our west - Central PA to just about EPA.

HOT! Feels like July out there, are we still looking at any severe t-storms this week? Frank had mentioned something about Wednesday? And rain for Fri-Sat looks like but so far totals still low.

Really nice today, cool but sunny, it was too hot yesterday, lets ease into that heat lol. Anyways NAM has some impressive rain totals to our west only goes to 84 hrs not sure if that rain is going to move to us or not, pushing 5 inches in some spots! Other models do not have nearly that much but NAm usually exaggerates 84 hrs out, we will see.

Yesterday, felt great. I kept coming up with an excuse at work to go out. Had lunch out too. The rain for the weekend looks like it's backing off. It shows partly cloudy now. I hope we don't get any. My days off are always horrible. I worked all last weekend.

Clouds and isolated showers the next two days. May not get out of 60's tomorrow. Could touch 80 Thursday. Friday looks like a washout. Should clear by early Saturday morning, but it will be a cool weekend.

Car therm said it was 74º here in Florham Park and it's quite sunny atm.

I'm camping at the east end of LI this weekend. NAM showed ugly ammounts of rain a few days ago for Fri/Sat, but backed off a bit. Hoping it might back off some more, but not looking good.

Input on the weekend weather from anyone here would be welcome, thanks!
