Looking at radar I see a lot of moisture to the east in the ocean this worries me being on the fringe of areas that could do very well.

conditions have gone rapidly downhill in the last 30 minutes here. Picked up an inch in that time with strong winds blowing snow. Look like what i expected more like 6pm.

If you split NJ in half, the west side is the 6-12, isolated 14 inch amounts. The east side (before NYC) is 12-18 inches, and NYC N&E is 18+
SREFS have that idea and match my snow map

Re: BLIZZARD JAN 26TH-27TH: OFFICIAL OBSERVATION THREAD
Observation:
Many placed have 1-2 inches already. This is telling me ratios could already be between 15:1 and 20:1. If temps get cold and we see consistent ratios at 20:1, then snow amounts would be higher across the board. I'll have to pay attention to this later today

I'll likely be approaching 2 inches here with the next 10-15 minutes. I hope ratios are helping out.
