Although I do not love the WC, I will miss Cantores antics and some of the shows are actually entertaining, sorry but I know many of you think otherwise but I feel jipped. But if Bernie Rayno is now on TV? I guess that will be cool since I like him.

Well 1-2 inchs of rain will just about do it for the snow, with half of it gone and its only Tuesday (the Bronx is a utter dump with garbage everywhere) Its disgusting, hopefully the snow melt will at least get them to clean up (yeah right), and lets dry out, get cold long enough to harden things up a bit and have a roidzilla for the end of the season (wishful thinking but hey mugs said we will have one, mugs if we do consider yourself king on my list)!

as much as i hate TWC, how will we get warnings and watches on TV without local on the 8? bad move by Verizon. Accuweather needs to prove it can replace not everyone can look at phones and etc to see what conditions we are getting or storm wise

Eh until we see our local new guys and set news time slots

I was watching the new Accuweather, it took 15-20 minutes to actually get to NJ/NY they do everyone it's not a local station so its useless to us IMO

Just venting lol Verizon must have saved a few pennies on the deal

I already hate Verizon and I am locked into a 2 yr contract, they dooped me at a higher rate than if I had signed up at the store and then tacked on charges they did not mention. Granted they are cheaper than cablevision but I think once my contract is up I will switch back for their 2 year deal, and back and forth heh. I know plenty of people who do that.

i switched my home phone to Verizon (they have very slow internet and no fios in my area). Service to install was horrible. They missed appointments and never have yet to bill me properly. I hate them. They have wasted so much of my time and are STILL overcharging me. I wish I never switched from Optimum. I will switch my phone to Vonage real soon. Direct TV seems okay. Tired Mad

I've had both optimum and fios and I gotta say once they got the billing right after 6 months of fighting them,fios has a better picture and no annoying black screen every time you change a channel like with optimum. You have to play the game, one against the other to get the best deal.

See what happens when Spring temps arrive, things get really BORING ! lol. I'm shocked no one has mentioned the 6Z GFS yet. Looks like it's trying to get snow into the area Sunday maybe 2-4 inches in places N and W.

But how about that fantasy storm on Monday the 23rd. Yes its obviously 12 days out and will change a dozen times between now and then but just to get us diehards through today can someone post the snow map from that run (JMAN). I would guess there has to be 1-2 foot amounts throughout most of our area. This is the time period our experts have been touting since last week and what a way it would be to bring in spring.

LOL< you know I love all wx, I will probably start my summer/hurricane season thread in May, preliminary thoughts are for a near land development again with near or below average amount of storms. Good news for anyone in hurricane prone areas, amazing that FL has gone so long without one this is a record stretch for them.

Look closer my friend, places in the HV get 2 feet from that run, but what's the point it's 12 days from now and won't happen if it all as depicted anyway.

So 6-10 inches in the HV according to that map. It looks like a lot more on the 6Z GFS run so I guess some of it must be rain, but that will change again if it even happens at all, which in itself is a looong shot 12 days out.
