Hey snow I'm not sure how you did elsewhere but your snow map nailed my area and most of LI. Nice job!

Mugsy, I think CP mentioned 100 inches or so for the "King" year, '95-'96.

It was 118 inches in 95/96. still the king.
93/94 was 96 inches (so close), those are the two best seasons I've lived through.

I jokingly made reference to that in another thread this morning Syos and Doc jumped all over it.
It is a weird setup when we're neck and neck now pretty much two years in a row. I believe our 71.4 inches beat most of LI last year but it was damn close.

CP, look at those HV totals the last few years, 65.1,71.4 and 69.8. I was in Mahwah 35 years (mistakenly said 25 years in an earlier post) and absolutely no way that ever happened there. An average season was 35 inches. A good season was 50 inches like this year.

Ahhhh the fantasy storms that keep us alive and hoping, now pushing to April 6th. Just like the last few I am sure it will disappear but just something fun to look at in this boring chilly evening. Temps look to bounce up and down ALOT according to 18z GFS, 60s to 20's to 30's to 40's to 50's. Hopefully one of those colder spells will coincide with a storm.

Re: Wx Banter Thread 1.0
Fantasy storms are abound on the models lately as is the epic pattern. We wait to see by the end of this week and go from there, not ruling out anything until the end of the first week in April. Maybe snow for the interior more so than the coastal plain. We hit April 1 it gets really hard to get snow down there, not impossible but really difficult.

Frank I know it's 240 out but about 240 out from this current 28th and 1st possible systems u started talking about. Is easter now a time frame to watch or just fantasy bs? And al note thst the system at 240 has not even moved through yet!

Re: Wx Banter Thread 1.0
I think between April 3rd and April 7th we have to watch for one last hurrah from winter. JB has eluded to this time frame as well, he thinks April 10th is the last of winter. Only time will tell but LOTS if time to go as we all know.
