Mugs reporting from his family vaccine from Iralia, Almafi Coast. Rime, pompei and now here. Momma Mia Roma was 106 heat insex, pompei 108 in the shade and now almafi, and capri. All amazing. Can not upload pictures rats. Hold the Forte.

so how does this work. when social media posts early on a snow system it is the so called kod and doesnt happen. so is it the opposite with a tropical system like the 969mb hurricane offshore on last euro run or does it mean now it will happen because people do not want it on here. Nonethless, there is certainly a lot of chatter on various tropical sites i check about thismpossible system.

Thanks Paisan it has been so far. Magnificent trip, Almafi Coast is incredible can move here tomorrow if I had the choice. For all been reading a highly scientific weather book that talks about our climate change and what we have ir what we now of our past,this has been really interesting and informative. Will share more once I finish and contrive some anecdotal notes if u will.

Back from the hills of nj had a blast and decided to stay longer(love when my I go to my parents..I turn back into a kid and get taken care of!!) ..hope everyone else enjoyed the last 2 weeks...weather was great.. but not looking forward to this week of 90's and humidity..especially since kids go back to school on Thurs down here!!

Similar to complaints about EWR..
DCA got a new sensor earlier in Aug after years of a questionable warm bias. Maybe EWR and Teterboro need the same. Using some rural location instead I think goes to far, its a poor representation of what the avg resident in a highly urban area actually experiences.

After the change there has been a small but noticeable drop in DC temps through out the rest of Aug.

So there is some precedent for change..like how NWS upped snow totals at CPK last winter.

I totally concur with this and the temps will be more accurate IMHO. Let's hope they do so come the near future.

My SINCEREST apologies for disappearing all summer. It was certainly not my intention do so, but between my new job, looking for a new place to live, shopping for furniture for said new place and hitting the gym six days every week, my time slipped away from me faster than s**t through a goose. I'm actually going to be moving into my new apartment this weekend, so I will likely not be able to contribute much (yet again, no shocker there

), but I am going to make it a point to at least contribute something after I settle in. I miss this board, and being able to completely geek out with all you other nerds on here, so I am going to do my absolute best to return.

BTW, FWIW, Any of you notice what last night's (03/0000z) GFS run at hour 372 was doing to the great state of ND??? Yeah; that would a September blizzard lmao It may be hour 372, and it may be the GFS, but d*mnit WE'RE GETTING CLOSER!!!!!! I hope you all enjoy your Holiday weekend!!
