Started lightly snowing in Hackettstown about 1:00. Finally starting to cover roads. We have about an inch maybe almost 2 already. It's beautiful!

Light snow here and a dusting. Looks like I'm getting subsidence here while there is heavy snow just to the east in CT.

Re: FEB 14th-15th Storm Thread (Observations and Discussions)
Already reports of 2" of snow out by port Jeff?? Oltimer??
There may be a lull in the action until tonight when the H5 vort gets here and brings SICK dynamics. Look at that squall in PA. Its only gunna get stronger when it gets here. I smell a local Mets bust for NYC Metro area.

Re: FEB 14th-15th Storm Thread (Observations and Discussions)
dropped to 29 here in Syosset. Steady light snow. Coating so far. Looks like a heavy band about to move in and last a few hours. Might be near 2" by 7:00 p.m. based on radar, but behind it in central/western Jersey radar looks sparse!! Will it fill in as the dynamics reach the coast?? Lets hope so. Frank no way 2" in Port Jeff. I hope so for them, but it would have had to come thru here first!!

It seems like this initial wave will of snow will come to and soon when do we start to see precip from the low?
