I wouldn't pay attention to boundary layers right now. 850s and 925mb are supportive of snow.

Every level except the surface is supportive for frozen precip. Hard to imagine the surface will shoot up into the mid 30s after 6-10 inches falls and strong dynamics with cold enough Upper Levels

False, 925/850 on Hi-Res maps doesnt get past TomsRiver

There is no way it snows for 39 hrs and we dong all get at least 2 feet.

Show him the maps Frank posted and I posted showing the 850's at -10c

CMC out to 54 and ridge is already more amped....like the GFS

GGEM is just as cold, and impressive. Some do see subsidence between banding though.

What do the wind gust look like for CMC?
