Hour 72, Matthew is slightly south / slower than 18z. Made landfall in far eastern Jamaica.

Yes it should no? 998 int 941 act ..........Here we go again I guess on the next run, data timing.
No. Intensity isn't affecting his track players which are the steering currents Frank mentioned above.

Hour 84, 2nd landfall in eastern Cuba. Still south of 18z but slight margins.

Re: HURRICANE MATTHEW
Hour 90, the ridge over the Northeast is moving east faster since the ULL was weaker / faster to move out. Overall, I think we'll see something similar or worse (as in impacts) than 18z.Â

Re: HURRICANE MATTHEW
Slightly SE through hr 96, but with the ULL moving out a little faster, the ridge is a little better built compared to 18z, going to be hard for an escape on this run...

Re: HURRICANE MATTHEW
Believe it or not, the ULL is still in between the WAR and the northeast ridge which is preventing the ridge-bridge. The WAR itself also looks weaker on 00z compared to 18z. But, I do like the trough better on 00z.

Re: HURRICANE MATTHEW
And that may be way off since the pressure did not initialize right, intensity could in fact be stronger, by alot too possibly.
