Anybody have any idea on how EPA will do with this storm. We could use a decent snowfall. So far this year I haven't even hit 12 inches yet. Pretty sad Winter so far for my area.

Plumes are out. went from 5.26 to 5.65 at LGA and precip def went up. Up to around 0.7

I saw the video and it was very well put together. I also agree that thunder-snow is possible

The NAM has snow starting between 3-4am Thursday. Be prepared to work from home / off from school this day.

The NAM-PARA is coming in looking impressive. Both NAM runs coming in at the same time.

Thanks Mugs and Rb. We sure could use a decent snow storm in our area. We really haven't had anything this year or even last year. Hopefully everything will come together and give us all a nice amount.

It's possible that this is sniffing out ducted gravity waves induced by the intense vertical motions, which is plausible.
