You know TT snow map is easier to read the color code than wxbell, the pinks all look so similar its hard to tell the diff.

winds are going to play a factor at least at the coast and mention blizzard conditions at the coast for now.

no it goes to hr 60, just o you can see the snow hole of NO snow over NYC and westchester. I cannot get the image to DL for some reason. Which does not make sense at all, in fact I have to believe this is an error.

Besides, I do not think we often look at the 4km NAM, its not no snow but under 6 inches and thats with ratios. I am gonna trash that one since no one else has spoken on it.

I will be at my son's 9:00 pm BBall game. Will join the chat late. Based on models here is my prediction. N and W of NYC earlier changeover means 8-10" LI and Central Jersey down to 78 6-8". Somewhere in our area people will get under intense bands and whoever does will Jackpot at 14-16". Good Luck!!

Frank do u suggest my wife plan to take a sick day and not drive to the south bronx Thursday at 7am? From way it looks the commute will.b a standstill or not at all.

Track, the reason I believe no wsw for the Jersey Shore (Ocean County). Temps to hit 63 tomorrow, backed by rain b4 a change over. The Snow would have to drop at a high rate to get a decent accumulation. the roads are very warm. We'll see though.

In other words stay put. That's what I been saying.

I am hoping for a nice snow fall in Ocean County, The models look good, but this winter has been very deceiving

In short madonne sub 990 mb storm wsw up for most 6 to 10 with godzilla potential. Rates could b up to 4 inches per hr msybe thundersnow. Rgem has a rediculoys 970mb low.

dphyatt and track. It looks like it depends what model comes true for Ocean County. For us, the weakest is the GFS which would give us 2-3" and a wwa. I hoping for the other scenario's. It looks like the system did slow down a bit which would give us less chance at rainfall with snow starting here around 6-7am. Let's hope for the best

no one was there completely empty...strolled around with son and had after school snacks.
