Does anyone know how things are in Nassau County? Going to be very cold tomorrow and will turn to ice if there's anything on my driveway and sidewalks that needs to be cleared...I'm at work so I have no idea what's going on at home and want to get someone to shovel if it's sticking...

the big temp drop later today and tonight's going to cause ice rinks all over the place. hopefully towns have prepared for salting

It's all over here in Nassau County. Eyeballing about 4". I like that fact that everything has a nice coat of white, but there is no shovelling involved. I wish I could invent some type of asphalt or concrete that repels snow, I'd be a rich man. Off to the lab. geek

Thank you CP for the measurement.Not bad at all for a March storm.Looks like popcorn snow showers on the radar.Wind started howling a few minutes ago.Snow blowing all over the place now.Was that a cold front coming through?

Temps dropped from 42 to 39.7 and I have a sun snow shower or a sun shnower,LOL. 62% 29.50 F

Same here in Hudson County.

But before that, we had nothing on the streets and sidewalks to measure, about an inch on the cars, but some grassy area had a good 3-4 inches.

Lol love your sense of humor doc.I'm headed down that road at present. Like that old joke we only have hallway sex now. That's when we pass each other in the hall she says "F#$k you, and I say F*@k you too." Don't know what happened but when I hit send everything turned red. I thought maybe it's a warning for language, but we are all adults here, right?
