25 minutes in and the flakes are big, fluffy, plentiful and sticking...so far so good...

In the last 15 minutes the snow has really picked up and the radar looks really good for LI the next 2 hours. Maybe I get to 3 or 4" Gonna be close.

4.2 inches 30 and moderate snow.
Get me to 5 inches today and we hit the seasonal average of 50. In what is so far one of the 5 warmest winters on record that's quite an accomplishment.

Might squeak it out CP.Yes, I would say we have to up the grade to a C if we hit 50.I know you hate the warm spells but as long as we get a full season of normal snow, I'm good.We have a shot at a B if this baby next week produces.

Got a call from the wife. She is not a happy camper, 4 inches and still snowing at a good clip. She said thanks for letting me do all the shoveling. Next time I was told " you'll be taking a day off ". I wonder how I'm going to look wearing a cast iron skillet on my head tonight.

Taffy, How are you feeling ? How's the back ? I'm going to need surgery on my back also one day. But I'm afraid because my Dad had his done years ago and things didn't go well and he became paralyzed from the chest down. He passed away in 2008 and believe me it was a blessing that he did. It was definitely a horrible situation for the whole family. I Hope you are doing well.
And by the way I like that hat I was wearing. I thought it really looked good on me.

Re: FRIDAY MARCH 10th 2017: Discussions & Observations
Does anyone know how things are in Nassau County? Going to be very cold tomorrow and will turn to ice if there's anything on my driveway and sidewalks that needs to be cleared...I'm at work so I have no idea what's going on at home and want to get someone to shovel if it's sticking...
