You're right Hector.I'll be sitting outside having a cigar in my t shirt and shorts,LOL.Not buying that scenario just yet, though.
If this were a snowstorm I would agree, but usually temps seem to be either consistent or a few degrees over even.

I plagiarized this from Doc on the OTI thread. I think this is perfect for someone like Jman whose oftentimes complaining about possible snow because he has to drive. Shame on you

May your wife who lost her mom and your kids who lost their grandma find comfort and peace, and you of course also. I've expressed my feelings on death before, each day we wake up I believe we come one day closer to being reunited with the loved ones we've lost.
One of these days I would like to discuss your near-death experience with you, maybe over a cup of coffee, or something stronger.
@Frank, Syo, CP - thank you for your kind words and condolences. I along with family very much appreciate it.
Cp - I would love to get together with you and talk about my NDE. Still vivid a long as this day is so far LOL! No java for me but a beer or JD would be more the speed!!!

I notice after Sunday the night temps are getting back into the low teens. I wonder why my perceptions tell me 13-14 was a colder winter? I guess it is I remember waking up to below zero mornings so often.

It's a great beginning but we know the month won't end up anything close to that with the projected thaw, as muted as I'm hoping it will be. The warmicists day is coming, unfortunately.

Funny you should ask. I stayed up late last night to watch the national title game for college football. I never stay up that late these days. At 12:15 in the morning I received a call from Delta. They apologize for calling so late but we’re scheduled to deliver my bags sometime overnight. They needed verbal consent to leave them on my doorstep if I did not answer The door. So obviously I said sure leave them right on the porch. When I woke this morning they only delivered one of the four bags. So I tried calling this morning to see what was up with the other three bags, and now I can’t even be put on hold. Saturday when I called I was on hold for four hours and 40 minutes before speaking to a live person, but this time the automated system said due to high call volume we cannot connect you to an agent at this time followed by being disconnected. UGG what a nightmare

It was a colder winter. I worked outside. Some of the temps here in North NJ didn't hit 0 or negatives as projected, but 13/14 did and also that year we had like a snow event every week like clockwork. I believe that February was the coldest on record and and was even colder than January of that year.

Airlines are the worst. The prices they charge to fly, the fees, the sometimes nasty crew members. I can't stand the airport, airline companies, and the disgusting food. Bag 2 pounds over-weight? It's as if the world is coming to an end.
Sorry Scott. I suggest pulling together some receipts and requesting money from these jerk offs. Even if your clothes come back just lie.

Call me crazy - but I'm sorta looking forward to this drenching rain. The streets and sidewalks are gross (I live in the city). The sludge build-up is like thick mud and every inch of walking space is coated in grime. It's actually disgusting.
After that - I'll be ready for our next round of winter lol.

Red Sox Suck and coastal SNE getting 2- locally 6” today from ocean effect, then a solid 3-6” Wednesday. That’s a solid 5-10” for them this week.

Like all of these fantasys it really hasn’t happened yet and even if it does we should care why? Red Sox Suck has had 23 inches of snow so far and NYC 18 and most of the suburbs more. If you only watch a cities fantasy totals it will always appear like they’re getting the goods. Just my two cents.

Andin reality they had 1.7 inches of snow this week. Their fantasy snows fail all the time just like everyone else’s.syosnow94 wrote:Red Sox Suck and coastal SNE getting 2- locally 6” today from ocean effect, then a solid 3-6” Wednesday. That’s a solid 5-10” for them this week.

Not surprising, interesting climatological times we live in: NASA's Goddard Institute for Space Studies (GISS) said 2017 was the second-hottest year in their database, which extends back to 1880. The past year ranked second to 2016 and knocked 2015 into third place in NASA's rankings.
Since 2001, the planet has recorded 17 of its 18 warmest years since record-keeping began, NASA added.

Hilarious. That’s what I need. Me and my CPenvy are heading up to Orange County. I’m gonna melt the snow as it falls on CP’s property. This way he will never, ever accumulate more than I do again.
On a side note first Math becomes a depressing warmiccist and now he complains about posts in a thread because they’re funny. What’s happened to my boy?
